Got this up on the UNYCGP board, and many of those guys are eager to join us. I'm going to figure out a date in the next couple days, so we can be locked in.

Welcome aboard. Hope we get to see you around, and get to see the classic stuff sometime as well. The Holiday Dinner plans will be coming together soon, as all the local groups set their dates & we pick one that doesn't conflict.
If you're considering a top-swap someday, here's a simple slideshow I made, while doing one for an '03 Impala from Utica (Dan, not sure if he's on here yet)... http://s223.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/....mview=slideshow Basically shows the swapping of the top end parts, but doesn't include the handful of items on the side, including the cam & headers it also got. Just something I threw together for a visual, so folks would see part of what it involves.

Hey gang. Just joined up. Linked here from RegalGS.org.
Hi, I'm Jason ("Hi Jason"). And I'm a Buick-aholic.
I'm pushing 32, and have had Buicks since I started driving. I currently have 3 in my driveway, two of which run, one is for parts now, unfortunately.
I've had my 87 Turbo Regal since my grandfather passed it down to me. I've had the "Silver Sleeper" since I was 16. And of course, its stock. (Aren't all TR's?) heh heh. It is being restored, and I'm taking my time. Its been off the road awhile, good repop sheetmetal parts are tough to find.
I have a 73 Electra, triple blue (blue outside, inside, and vinyl top), 455ci, with quite a bit done to it. Unfortunately met its fate with a guardrail at 60mph when the rear control arm broke away from the pretty rusted frame. The 455 and TH400 are still good, as are quite a few rare parts, so the Electra stays. For now.
Just recently bought a 2004 LeSabre Custom. Only had it about 3 weeks now. Its pretty loaded, even for a custom. I never leave stuff alone, so it wont be stock for long. Wasn't even a week before I put SilverStar bulbs in it. It is also silver, with a gray stripe, almost identical to my Regal. Once the warranty runs out that I got from the dealer, L67 top swap is a distinct possibility.
Have also had a 91 Roadmaster Estate in the family. And just convinced my sister to get a 2001 Regal LSE for her new daily driver. Also an extremely well optioned car.
Thought I'd stop in here, say hey! See y'all around CNY!

2009 Post-Holiday dinner « Result #10 on Nov 15, 2009, 5:38pm »
The group has grown, especially on the Utica side. Plans have now been discussed with the rest of our friends in UNYCGP, and a date is set below.
We're now getting the evening laid out, to give everyone enough time to plan on attending. Great opportunity to see some less-familiar UNYCGP faces, and even bring some new 3800 folks along to show them the good-hearted fun this club is about.
Location is the Syracuse Quaker Steak & Lube, the popular car-themed restaurant. Date is set to be January 16th, 2010 @ 5pm
That location gives a chance to involve karting as well, if interest exists (not mandatory to ride if you come after dinner). Canastota Kart is where we can end the evening. Attendees to the dinner can decide if this visit will be part of the festivities.
POST YOUR THOUGHTS/IDEAS & STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES. This message will become more detailed as we confirm plans leading up to the Dinner.
